Razzle-Dazzle or Auction Cinch

This is a draw poker variation for five or six players. each for himself. Only six cards are dealt to each player, three at a time. Bidding is exactly the same as in Cinch; the highest bidder has the privilege of naming the trump. All cards that are not trumps or sure winners are discarded, and the dealer gives cards from the deck to restore each hand to six. The highest bidder then names a card he needs (generally a trump); the holder of that card must acknowledge it, and thereby becomes bidder’s partner, but the players do not change seats.

Cinch with a Widow

Cinch is occasionally played with a widow of four cards dealt face down in front of each online poker player, after the first round of three cards a piece has been dealt. Subsequent deals give each player six additional cards, as in Cinch. After the bidding is completed, but before the trump suit is named, each player picks up his widow. Then after the trump is named, each player discards all but six cards and play proceeds as a Cinch.

Progressive Cinch

The tables are made up as in a Progressive Euchre (see Chapter 13). Each table is pro vided with bell, and as soon as any side scores 32 points, they ring it. Play stops at once at all tables, and totals are added up, as of the last hand scored. The winning poker teams progress, as in Progressive Euchre. Ties may cut to decide who progresses and scores, or a half game may be scored for each side, cutting to progress only.

Sixty- Three

In this modification of Cinch, nine cards are dealt to each player; and after discarding, the hands are filled out to six cards, as in Cinch. A game is made up of 152 points. The trump cards count as follows: ace (high), 1; king, 25; trey (3), 15; nine, 9; ten, 1; five (right pedro), 5; five of same color (left pedro), 5; two (low), 1. All of these count to the player taking them in play poker . Bidding continues in rotation until no one will bid higher. The highest possible bid is 63.
In Progressive Sixty-Three, teams change tables after four hands are played. Except for this, the rules of Progressive Cinch hold.
